These terms cover the Metronome: Recurring Tasks for Jira app. Your purchase, billing and refunds run through the Atlassian Marketplace and are governed by Atlassian's own terms; these cover the app itself.
It creates Jira issues on a schedule you configure, at the time and in the timezone you choose. That is the whole of it.
It is a scheduler, not a system of record. If a task matters legally or financially, the schedule is a prompt and not the proof. Keep your own record of what was done.
We have built this to create the issue on the minute you set, and we measure that. What we cannot promise is that Atlassian's platform will always be available, because the app runs on their infrastructure and their scheduling, and neither is ours to guarantee.
If Atlassian is unreachable when a task is due, the app catches the occurrence up when it recovers. If it is unreachable for longer, several missed occurrences collapse into one, which is deliberate: returning to a week of duplicate tickets is not a recovery.
The app is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim.
A schedule that cannot run says so on its row in the admin page, in plain words, rather than failing silently. If you find a case where it fails quietly, that is a bug we want to hear about and will treat as a priority, because it is the failure this product exists to avoid.
Support is by email, in English, on a best-effort basis during UK and US business days. There is no contracted response time. If that matters to you, say so before buying rather than after.
Atlassian bills you, not us. Pricing, renewal, cancellation and refunds follow the Atlassian Marketplace terms shown at the point of purchase. We do not hold your card details and never see them.
Covered in the privacy policy. In short: the app runs inside your own Atlassian instance, makes no outbound calls, and stores no personal data.
Uninstall the app whenever you want. Its stored schedules go with it. Issues it already created are ordinary Jira issues and remain yours.
If these change, the date at the top changes with them. A change that materially reduces what the app does will be said plainly on the Marketplace listing, not only here.
